What do Court Streeters do at Church?
At Court Street Church, we believe that we grow closer to God as we grow closer to one another. We love to get together to study the Bible, serve the community, and have fun together! Here are some of the activities and ministries that are close to our heart:
Family Promise of Genesee County:
Several times each year, our congregation provides a safe, comfortable home to families who are temporarily without housing. The people of Court Street Church welcome, feed, and shelter these families as they work to get back on their feet. Family Promise keeps families together when their lives fall apart – click here to find out about this remarkable ministry.
Crossover Downtown Outreach Ministry:
Court Street Church has a long and deep relationship with Crossover Downtown Outreach Ministry, which is located just across the street from the church building. Crossover feeds the hungry, provides children with backpacks and school supplies, and supports families in times of emergency. Court Streeters support Crossover with our gifts, our time, our sweat, and our prayers. Find out more about Crossover by clicking here.
At Court Street Church we believe that we are called to grow in the knowledge and the love of God. We love reading, we love learning, and we love gathering with other curious people to talk about little struggles and big ideas. You will find us gathering at the church and in members’ homes, on Sunday mornings and on Wednesday mornings. We have Grow Groups teenagers and Grow Groups for old-agers, and we believe we have a Grow Group for you.
